Crochet Vlogcast (!!) Episode 14

Crochet vlog? Crochet podcast? Nooo, it’s a Crochet Vlogcast, of course!!

Please click on the pic above to go to YouTube for the latest in my frantic crafty to-ings and fro-ings.

In this episode I discuss the following things:

Colour Block Jumper . Yep, I couldn’t find the human designer, sorry. I’m sure I saw an interview in Simply Crochet mag a few months ago. I’ll be darned if I can remember who and I don’t have the issue any more!

Ravelry – Fancy being a pattern tester for my my new shawl?

My Urban Stripe Shawl

Like the wrist warmers? The pattern is part of a set called Autumn Vintage, here.

Outlander knitwear inspiration.  Because I’m a few years behind everyone else…

And to cheer us all up a bit, check this out. Because I need a laugh right now.

  1. That is so pretty! And what’s funny is that being in the US, and being a fan of listening to Agatha Christie audiobooks, I never understood what a jumper was and in those books someone always has one on! LOL! Over here a jumper would be a sleeveless sort of dress that you wear over a shirt. So you’ve cleared up a mystery for me as well!

    1. Thank you!!
It’s funny because now I want to go and look up why a jumper is called a jumper!! It makes no sense!! That’s how I’ve always known it! Sweater is more common in the US isn’t it? It sounds odd when I say it.😄😂

      1. Yes we always say sweater. Or for the button down ones you can also say cardigan. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve heard the term “jumper” on those audiobooks and tried to figure out what they were! Amazing about how language works! 😀

  2. Wooo thanks for my mention Rosina!! I was so excited- someone on the telly was talking about me 😂😂😂😂 I made my husband watch it too! The yarn you’ve chosen looks yummy, everyone will be envious of our mitts!
I’m going to have to start watching Outlander….
How has starting back at school gone? We are finally in full time school for both kids! So far it’s good. So much time for sewing and crochet!
    Sending a big hug ❤️❤️

    1. Heehee!! I do that if I get a mention on someone else’s video!!
School is going well. Not full time until next week though. It’s morning and lunch this week. There will be so much time, I cannot wait!!
I wasn’t sold on Outlander at first. Dodgy acting and dodgy accents. But I soon forgave it. It’s pretty racy…!! I was shocked as I hadn’t realised it would be so full on. But, yeah I just watch it for the knitwear…. ahem.
