In absolutely no particular order (because there are just too many – soz!), here are some recent pics of the garden. It’s been just over a month since I last shared what was going on in the garden and it has been a very productive few weeks. I can’t believe the difference from these photos to the ones in the last blog post! The garden has gone bonkers!
We had the bonfire that I said I wanted to have, took stuff to the dump, sorted out all the pots and got planting. There’s still lots more to do as I’ve not done all the lettucey type things and there are baby runner beans and purple french ones to go out.
A sunny May day is the garden at its best before there’s the weird June/July lull. I’m curious to see what the pots will look like later on in the year; the kids have persuaded me to change colour scheme. They’ve chosen lots of garish, clashy things. I hope I like it! I’m also desperate to get my hands on home grown veg. It’s all late because my early stuff got bitten by the frost and I had to start again. But, hey, it’s only May!

Fab piccies. I love your garden posts. There is no such thing as too many flower/garden pics. I’m surprised I haven’t broken Instagram with the amount I post all the time! I’m glad to see we’re not the only ones who have achillea mollis invading the gravel paths with gay abandon!
Cheers! I keep clicking away and realise I’ve taken a million pics of the same thing! There are many other things I wanted to photograph but thought I should save those for when they’re at their best. The lupin for example, and some surprise cornflower type things. I need to wait until they’re actually in flower maybe!
I love the alchemilla mollis, I introduced it 7 years ago but only last year did it decide to spread itself about. Maybe when it takes over I’ll start to hate it!? 😀

Gorgeous photos as ever! Your garden is lovely. I wish I could grow veg, but it’s really too shady in my garden for growing food. Apart from a random strawberry bush which just keeps getting better every year! Xx
Are there any shady veg about?! I got rid of my strawbs ages ago as we had an invasion of vine weevil, which love strawberry roots. They (the plants, not the weevils) still pop up. I’d miss them if they didn’t! 😀
I’ve not found a shady veg yet. I did manage a courgette once though!
