  1. Hi. I am going to sign up for knitcrate I think but do you have to pay customs on it and if so how much? I had to pay £12.80 for one skein that I won last month so the crate works out expensive if that is the case.

    Thanks Rosie

    1. Oh that’s a bummer! I thought they were doing it so you didn’t have to pay customs. I didn’t pay anything as knitcrate sent me three months for free.
I’ve been stung by customs fees in the past for other things from the US and it’s quite a painful cost. I recommend getting in touch with knitcrate to find out whether it’ll happen or not. I think it’s based on how much they say the contents of the parcel is worth.

  2. I love your C2C bag! Please can you tell me roughly how long the bits of yarn are that you tie together? One day I might get my act together and do something with my left over yarns but I’m wondering if they are too long/short.
Isaac was very impressed seeing you on the TV! 😄
    Lovely vlogcast as ever xx

    1. Oh, I forgot to mention about the lengths. I saved the shorter ones for each end of the ball. Some in the middle might’ve been 4 or 5 grams (guesstimate) but keep em all different for the best look.
Did you tell him it wasn’t really real telly though?! 😂😂 Xx

      1. Thank you, that makes sense to me (keeping the shorter bits for the ends) hopefully one day I’ll have a go!
I did tell him it wasn’t real telly but he was amazed anyway! ☺️😆 xx
